AR Racing

Eddie Nakato

Eddie is the owner of the shop and the creator of all the madness that is AR Auto Service. Bitten at a young age by the “speed bug” Eddie has purchased and raced everything from Mazda Miata’s to Acura NSX’s. He is currently campaigning a 2007 Honda Civic Si in the SCCA Showroom Stock B class and has 2 Division Championships to his name.  His skills range from suspension tuning to private driver coaching.  Eddie can be recognized by his trademark Kamikaze scheme helmet and crazy driving style.

Fun Fact: Eddie got into a knife fight once.  The knife lost.

Ian Clinkinbeard
Ian is the newest addition to AR Auto service.  Starting with his father’s Porsche 951, Ian has been wrenching on cars for as long as he (and we) can remember.  Despite his gruff demeanor, Ian is a friendly guy and is without a doubt the most experienced Miata technician we have on hand!  Although he won’t admit it, Ian is also a highly skilled driver that has quite a bit of on-track experience in a Lotus Elise.

Fun Fact: Ian likes moonlit strolls on the beach, candlelight dinners and 80’s soft rock. Ian is also looking for a date. Please contact us for details.

Brian Marsteller
Brian is the lead technician at AR Auto service and is without a doubt one of the most thorough technicians that we know.  Even at 3am in the morning(ask us how we know).  Brian’s skills range from diagnosing and fixing complex electrical problems to tuning suspension and alignment for the racetrack.  Brian is a high performance driving instructor for the BMW Club and Porsche Club and has experience racing 125cc Rotax Karts as well.

Fun Fact: Brian likes turbo boost.  He likes boost so much that we suspect that he may have tried to plumb a turbocharger to himself to try and increase his output.  We haven’t really noticed a difference yet.
